July 30, 2025 – Solaire Resort. Hariphil Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI), the official distributor of Chevrolet cars in the Philippines, proudly unveiled the All-New Chevrolet Groove at a vibrant retro-themed launch event that brought together industry leaders, media partners, and car enthusiasts.
Lending global flavor to the celebration was the presence of top executives from General Motors Asia-Pacific, led by Mr. Hector Villareal—President, Managing Director, and CEO of General Motors Korea—alongside the HARI Board, Chairman Richard L. Lee; Vice Chair, President, and CEO Maria Fe Perez-Agudo; and Director, Treasurer, and CFO Ladislao Z. Avila, Jr.
The All-New Groove signals Chevrolet Philippines’ bold leap forward in delivering vehicles that mirror the expressiveness and versatility of the modern Filipino driver. The newest entrant in high-growth subcompact SUV segment redefines confidence on the road with smart styling, advanced safety features typically found in bigger high-end models, intuitive connectivity, generous cabin space, and fuel-efficient performance.
“This launch represents Chevrolet’s ongoing evolution—giving Filipino motorists across generations a vehicle that celebrates inclusiveness, innovation, and personalization. It’s built for real lives—those who move through vibrant communities and dynamic urban spaces with purpose and style,” said HARI Vice Chair, President, and CEO Maria Fe Perez-Agudo.
Ms. Agudo furthered that this launch echoes HARI’s continued evolution as a proudly Filipino automotive firm nearing its 25th year of operations in 2026: “We are not just launching a new SUV—we are making a statement. We are defining our momentum: we are here to stay. With Chevrolet now fully embedded in our portfolio, we press ahead with a lineup that champions inclusiveness and innovation. Our goal remains constant—to put our customers first, and ensure an exceptional ownership journey at every touchpoint.”
Chevrolet Philippines’ momentum under HARI continues to accelerate, with 2024 sales surging by 112% over 2023, driven by strong demand for the All-New Captiva (launched October 2024), Tracker, and Camaro. The dealership network also expanded robustly, marked by the opening of Chevrolet CamSur in August 2024, the unveiling of the upgraded Chevrolet Makati in February 2025, and the inauguration of Chevrolet Las Piñas that same month.
