Isuzu Philippines joins the fun at 2026 Overland Kings Campout

Kicking off the year with adventure and outdoor camaraderie, Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) once again joined the country’s growing overlanding community at the 2026 Overland Kings Campout, held at the scenic Crystal Beach in Zambales. Ahead of the summer season, the three-day gathering brought together outdoor enthusiasts, families, and adventure seekers for a shared celebration of camping, exploration, and the overlanding lifestyle.
Recognized as one of the largest outdoor lifestyle events in the local automotive scene, the 2026 Overland Kings Campout drew a record number of participants this year, with hundreds of attendees enjoying a wide range of activities, displays, and collaborative experiences. From camping setups and gear showcases to community-led activities, the event highlighted the growing appeal of overlanding as a lifestyle that blends travel, nature, and capable vehicles.
As part of its participation, IPC showcased the Isuzu D-MAX 4×4 LS-E, fitted with practical overlanding accessories including Mammoth rooftop tent, awning, and cross bars – demonstrating a complete, adventure-ready setup designed for weekend escapes and extended outdoor trips. The display highlighted how the D-MAX seamlessly supports camping and exploration, whether along the coast or off the beaten path.
“IPC’s participation in events like the Overland Kings Campout goes beyond vehicle display. IPC joins gatherings like this to celebrate the outdoors together with the community and to show how the Isuzu D-MAX naturally fits into weekend adventures and camping activities. With its durability, off-road capability, and comfort, we believe the D-MAX is the perfect partner for outdoor lifestyles like this,” said IPC Sales Division Head, Robert Carlos.
Built to handle rugged terrain and long journeys, the Isuzu D-MAX 4×4 is powered by Isuzu’s proven 4JJ3-TCX Blue Power diesel engine, paired with a robust 4WD system equipped with Differential Lock and New TCS with Rough Terrain Mode, the D-MAX is designed to provide more traction and control across varying road and off-road conditions. Its high ground clearance, sturdy ladder-frame chassis, and advanced suspension system make it ideal for hauling gear, navigating uneven terrain, and supporting overlanding equipment – while maintaining everyday drivability and comfort for both drivers and passengers.
Carlos further emphasized that the D-MAX is engineered for this kind of lifestyle in mind. “Globally, the D-MAX is recognized and celebrated as a vehicle built for the outdoors – capable, durable, and ready for adventure, and this is exactly what we want to continue promoting in the Philippine market.” He also congratulated Overland Kings on another successful event, adding, “We commend Overland Kings for consistently promoting the outdoor lifestyle within the automotive community and for bringing together such a large and passionate group of enthusiasts in one venue. Events like this strengthen the community and inspire more Filipinos to explore, travel, and connect with nature.”
