Auto Lucena South Inc., led by President Patrick Licup, has officially broken ground on GWM Lucena, its first dealership in Quezon Province. The ceremony was attended by key partners and supporters, including Mr. Harry Licup, Mr. Ken Pasumbal, Mr. Ruben Tan, and Mr. Dax Avenido.
With almost 20 years of experience in the industry, Licup began his automotive journey running an auto detailing shop, later expanding through brands like Pegasus LED and ZS Films. His involvement in ChinaCarsPH exposed him early to the rising quality of China-made vehicles, shaping his decision to bring modern, value-driven brands to the province.
Set in a strategic location in Lucena City, GWM Lucena will feature diesel-powered pickups and SUVs, supported by a modern showroom and full-service workshop. Target opening: mid-2026.
“This first dealership is a milestone for us,” said Patrick Licup. “We want Quezon customers to get better value for their money. And after GWM Lucena opens, we’ll add another brand focused on PHEV and EV models to give customers even more choices.”
