Isuzu PH Maintains Truck Market Leadership, Posts Stronger Sales Performance in July

Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) continues to lead the Philippine truck market in the first seven months of 2026, capturing a 42.0% market share and maintaining its leadership across Categories III, IV, and V, based on reported data from the Truck Manufacturers Association, Inc. (TMA) and the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI).

The company also posted an 8.4% month-on-month increase in total truck sales in July, with sales rising from 275 units in June to 298 units. The growth was driven primarily by stronger demand for IPC’s light- and medium-duty truck lineup, signaling positive movement in key segments amid an evolving business environment.

The strong July performance highlights the continued confidence of Filipino businesses in Isuzu’s reliable diesel-powered products and comprehensive aftersales support. As businesses navigate rising operating costs and evolving business needs, Isuzu continues to provide mobility solutions designed to help customers operate efficiently and keep their businesses moving.

“The growth we achieved in July, along with our sustained leadership in the commercial vehicle market, reflects the trust that businesses continue to place in Isuzu. This inspires us to continually support our customers through reliable mobility solutions and aftersales services that help them operate more efficiently and achieve their business goals,” said IPC President Mikio Tsukui.

Best-selling Trucks Driving Business Mobility Across the Philippines

As businesses across the country continue to rely on dependable transport solutions, Isuzu’s strong market performance is supported by its lineup of trucks designed to meet a wide range of operational requirements—from urban deliveries and distribution to long-haul transport, construction, and other demanding applications.

Leading IPC’s sales is the Isuzu N-Series, part of Category III or the light-duty truck segment, which secured a 39% market share with 1,323 units sold during the first seven months of 2026. The segment also recorded a 15% increase in sales from June.

Trusted by SMEs, logistics providers, and distribution businesses, the N-Series combines maneuverability and durability to support a wide range of operations. Its compact cabin enables easy navigation through congested urban streets, while its robust construction allows it to handle challenging provincial roads and rural terrain. Powering the lineup is a fuel-efficient diesel engine that delivers the performance required for daily operations while helping businesses manage fuel consumption and operating costs. Driver comfort is further enhanced by its ergonomic cabin design, while the availability of Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) provides added convenience, particularly in stop-and-go traffic.

In the medium-duty truck segment, Isuzu continued to gain traction among logistics, cold chain, and industrial transport operators, helping its Category IV lineup post a 19% increase in sales compared to June. The segment also maintained a strong 45.5% market share with 805 units sold during the first seven months of the year. This performance was supported by Isuzu’s F-Series and medium-duty N-Series models, which allow IPC to address a broad range of transport requirements across various industries.

Favored for long-haul routes and heavy-duty operations, the F-Series delivers the reliability Isuzu is known for while offering a wide range of body configurations that allow businesses to tailor their trucks according to specific operational requirements.

Meanwhile, dominating the heavy-duty truck segment is IPC’s Category V lineup, with strong contributions from both the Isuzu F-Series and S-Series models, which captured a commanding 52.4% market share with 185 units sold during the first seven months of 2026. With this, more than one out of every two heavy-duty trucks sold during the period carried the Isuzu badge.

Demand in the segment continues to be driven by infrastructure projects, large-scale operations, and government institutions requiring substantial payload capacity and robust chassis. To further support drivers and fleet operators, the lineup is equipped with safety and driver-assistance technologies such as Electronic Vehicle Stability Control (EVSC) and an Advanced Instrument Cluster with Driver Coaching, helping enhance driver safety, confidence, and operational efficiency.

    Moving Forward with Filipino Businesses

Beyond its product lineup, IPC supports customers through the Isuzu Advantage, a comprehensive aftersales ecosystem that includes its nationwide dealer network, extensive parts availability, Mobile Medic services, driver and mechanic training programs, and technical assistance from its field engineers.

Through these initiatives, Isuzu provides customers with timely support and expert assistance across their areas of operation, helping maximize vehicle uptime and operational efficiency throughout the ownership journey.

Building on the strong performance recorded in 2026, IPC President Mikio Tsukui reaffirmed the company’s commitment to providing customers with dependable vehicles and excellent aftersales. “July’s stronger performance provides encouragement as we move through the remainder of the year. We hope to not only sustain our leadership but also enhance our services, so that we may continue to support the industries that move the nation forward,” said Tsukui.
